Bafta Awards 2020 finden heute statt

London - Heute Abend (02.02.) werden die British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards 2020 - kurz Bafta Awards - verliehen.
Als Favorit geht dabei Joaquin Phoenix mit "Joker" ins Rennen. Der Film hat insgesamt elf Nominierungen abstauben können, darunter der Schauspieler selbst als "Bester Hauptdarsteller". Konkurrenz bekommt er dabei von seinen Kollegen Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonathan Pryce, Adam Driver und Taron Egerton. Das weibliche Pendant hingegen könnte an Jessie Buckley, Scarlett Johansson, Saoirse Ronan, Charlize Theron oder Renée Zellweger gehen.
